Training:
A native-born Oregonian, Dr. Reed is a 1999 graduate of Crater High School. He also attended Oregon State University, receiving dual degrees in Microbiology and General Science, with a Chemistry Minor. While at Oregon State he met his wife, Tiffany, and they began their family with a daughter who was born shortly before he was accepted to medical school.
Dr. Reed attended his four years of medical school at A.T. Still University in Kirksville, Missouri and then completed three additional years of Family Medicine Residency in Quincy, Illinois. During the course of this training, their family grew and he and Tiffany now have five children. After residency, he moved back to Oregon to begin his medical practice.
At Home:
Out of the office you will usually find Dr. Reed at home. In his free time he enjoys working with his hands, with skills he learned working with his Dad. He always has projects around the property and enjoys being busy. He loves to ski, beginning at Mt. Ashland when he was just three years old. These days he enjoys racing his kids down that same mountain.
Reading the bible or a good book, working in the yard, and tinkering in his shop bring him joy. He loves his family and he loves the Lord.
In the office:
As a family medicine physician, Dr. Reed enjoys building relationships with his patients. He also loves to teach and to care for people. His goal in pursuing medicine as a career is for patients to be able to understand the health challenges they face. With this understanding, they are better supported and equipped to feel and do their best.
It takes time to build a relationship with your physician. Dr. Reed spends that time with each patient. He wants to understand their goals and address each of their needs – he will happily go through your list of concerns. At Reed Direct Primary Care, we have time for you, when you need it.
